Steven is my 3rd figurative sculpture. Through sculpture I have been learning the form and anatomy on a whole new level. I think it's really important to understand the anatomy if you are shooting for realistic figurative work. For each sculpture, I map out all the muscles In order to understand whats really going on under the surface, and it adds a real sense of form and movement.
